My love of history and museums was undeniable by the time I was 8. Despite that, I didn’t experience a direct path to my career in museums. I dabbled in nursing and psychology before finally acknowledging that my mother had been right all along. I should work in museums! To say that special events are my passion almost seems an understatement. Planning exhibition openings, galas, networking events, etc… brings me such joy. I love helping museums to connect with their constituents. That the result of those connections is donations that allow my colleagues to do their jobs is the icing on the cake.
